Do you have a Spanish friend or relative that you send and receive messages to/from and are always trying to decipher their message with all the abbreviated words? Here are the most commonly abbreviated words in Spanish.

Watch out for words that contain ‘h’, because this is not pronounced in Spanish they completely miss it off when texting.

You will always come across newly abbreviated words and ways of abbreviating but here are the most common ones:
