Intensive Spanish Courses – Improve Your Spanish Fast

Intensive Spanish courses are designed for people who want to make rapid progress with Spanish through in-person or online lessons.

How does it work?

Before the course starts you will have a free 60-minute introductory session either in-person, online or over the phone to assess your current level and to discuss what you want to achieve from the course.
Lessons can be taken over 1-4 weeks to suit your schedule.

How do I book lessons?

Contact us to book your initial 60-minute assessment to discuss your level, your needs, the teaching style to make sure it is a good fit for you. Based on this information it your course of lessons will be tailored specifically for you to achieve your goals.
Your progress will be monitored after each session and your preferences may change as your Spanish improves.
All materials will be provided for you and after every lesson you will be given homework to practice.

Where do lessons take place?

Lessons can be either in-person or online. We mainly use Zoom and Skype, however if you prefer Teams or Whatsapp this can also be arranged.
Skype and Zoom lessons are fun and interactive. You see each other and share screens. We can explain many things by looking at the same handouts and listening to the same audios, videos and looking at the same websites. You can also exchange files through the system, use the text-box to check spellings and receive feedback on writing.

Do you recommend face-to-face or online learning?

Online learning can be as good or even better than in-person learning. After more than 15 years of teaching I have noticed that online students perform just as well, if not better than those receiving face-to-face lessons.
Online lessons build confidence for listening and speaking and it is easy to share links to videos and other webpages.

What are your payment terms and method?

You initially pay for one lesson as an opportunity to make up your mind. Then if you decide to continue you will need to pay for a block of lessons via bank transfer upon invoice.

What if I need to cancel a lesson?

Please try to give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a lesson. Lessons that are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice before the lesson start time are forfeited.
If you do not log in within 15 minutes of the lesson start time, the lesson will be forfeited.

I already do a group Spanish lesson, can I still benefit from a course with you?

Yes! We can help you revise and reinforce what you have learnt in your group class. We can also develop the content more to speed up your learning and give you extra practice on areas that you perhaps struggle with. We can also tackle aspects of the language that are coming up to give you a head start!

I need to pass an exam, can you help?

Absolutely! We can help you prepare for the DELE exams, GCSE, A-levels or degree level exams. Sometimes you just need a bit of extra speaking practice and confidence boosting. We offer study tips and revision techniques to help you pass your exams with flying colours!

How soon can I start?

Once you have completed our Student Needs Analysis Form and have paid for the first lesson, we will schedule the session. We aim to get you started as soon as possible.
